War Memorial Park
Also known as the Civilian War Memorial, this place was built to commemorate those who had lost their lives during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore. The 4 tall pillars represent the unity and shared war experiences of the 4 races in Singapore. Every year on Total Defence Day, families and ex-servicemen will stand there to commemorate their loved ones who had lost their lives.
