St Andrew's Cathedral

St. Andrew’s Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral located next to the City Hall MRT station and is the oldest Anglican house of worship in Singapore. It is gazetted as a national monument in 1973. Word has it that the plot of land on which the Cathedral sits was personally picked out by Stamford Raffles in 1823, under the Jackson Plan. The cathedral is the second church building built on the site of the original Church of St. Andrew. Showcasing an expansive array of Gothic-styled arched windows, the building stands majestic.
