The Arts House
The Art House is also known as the Old Parliament House, where the Singapore Parliament used to sit. The national monument is possibly the oldest surviving structure and oldest government building in Singapore, having been constructed way back in 1827! With the opening of the new parliament house, the former building was revamped and reopened as the Art House. The Art House is now a prestigious venue for the performing and visual arts, housing an entertainment space, a 75-seat theatrette and even a restaurant, spruced up from the courthouse. Despite undergoing a major transformation, the building has been able to retain its original charm and beauty.
